Last March, the Institut Català de Paleontologia (ICP) hired four young people to join its team under the Primera Experiència Professional program in Public Administration.

The initiative, subsidized by the Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC) and financed by the European Union (NextGenerationEU) as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, offers grants to hire unemployed people under thirty years old who are registered as job seekers in the SOC, for a duration of twelve months.

The objective is to promote the hiring of young people who are unemployed to improve their employability, allow them to acquire their first professional experiences in the field of public administration, and help them develop their own professional skills.

As part of this call, the ICP has offered four positions in different areas that will be filled for one year by Pol de Haro (IT Area Technician), Sergi Mercadé (Technician of the Administration Area and Research Support and External Services Department), Lucía Ponce (Preparator), and Anna Solé (Technician of the Outreach and Communication Department).
