Joan Oró Grants for the Recruitment of Predoctoral Research Trainees (FI)

- These grants are aimed at universities, research centres and hospital foundations in Catalonia for the recruitment of research trainees who carry out their PhD within the Catalan university system.
- They are 4-year grants that cover the employment costs of the predoctoral researcher. Beneficiaries also receive an additional grant of €3,000 for training activities and research stays.
- To apply, candidates for the grants must have completed the studies required to access a doctoral programme and demonstrate an average grade of at least 6.5 in their undergraduate, bachelor’s or engineering degree.
- Thesis supervisors must be affiliated with the host institution of the grant.
- Host institutions are responsible for evaluating and prioritising applications in accordance with their scientific policy.
