From June 26th to July 1st, the city will be hosting the annual meeting of the European Association of Vertebrate Palaeontologists, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary. More than 230 paleontologists from around the world will gather at the Espai Cultura Fundació 1859 for this event organized by the Institut Català de Paleontologia Miquel Crusafont with the sponsorship of several public and private entities.

From 12 to 16 de September, the first international online and onsite conference BRIDGES 2022 will be held in Gandía. It is a landmark meeting to promote a fairer scientific system and a more diverse academic environment.
