Investigadora predoctoral. Faunes del Neogen i Quaternari

(Portland, 1991)

Graduated in Archaeology (Portland State University, 2016) with a specialization in Biological Archaeology. Completed a Masters degree in Paleobiology (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 2018) with a thesis entitled: New small Catarrhine (Primates) from the Vallesian (Late Miocene) of Can Llobateres (Sabadell, Barcelona, Spain). Relation with ICP developed through thesis work collaboration between advisors from both UAB and ICP.

Current researcher in the Neogene and Quaternary Faunas department at the Institut Català de Paleontologia (ICP) under the supervison of Dr. David M. Alba. Dissertation is focused on the study of dentognathic material from Miocene Suids and Bovids to compare Paleoenvironmental changes between Primate bearing localities in the Vallès-Penedès basin with sites that have not yet yielded primate remains. The understanding of these developments is vital to investigate faunal turnovers in relation to Paleoenvironmental change.

Currently working with a grant from the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde (CTGR).
