Roc Olivé has a degree in Fine Arts and trained in the field of paleontology (ELBS master expert in paleontology). He has worked as a scientific illustrator for several publications. In the field of paleoart, it is worth noting the publication of different paleontology books such as " Dinosaures de petits a grans" (Ed: Cossetània), "Mi primera guía de los animales prehistóricos" (Ed: Tundra), "Catalunya prehistòrica " (Ed: Cossetània) or "Mesozoic birds" (Lynx Editions). He has also produced recreations of fauna for exhibitions such as the one currently exhibited at the Vilanova de Meià Interpretation Center or the Barcelona Aquarium. At the same time, he has worked as a teacher in paleoart subjects in the postgraduate course in scientific illustration at the Universitat de Girona. He has collaborated with the ICP on previous occasions, illustrating some exhibitions that have been curated by the center or collaborating with ICP researchers to publish books on paleontology.
He is hired at the ICP with the collaboration of the Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología - Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Competitividad.
