An international team of researchers including Daniel DeMiguel, from the Institut Català de Paleontologia Miquel Crusafont (ICP), have analyzed the three dimensional structure of the inner ear of several extant and extinct species of deer. The study, published in Scientific Reports, has shed light on the origin and evolution of this group, one of the most diverse families among mammals.

Main research topics: systematics, biochronology and palaeobiogeography of Neogene-Quaternary Eurasian lagomorphs.

The outputs are published in SCI papers, books, abstracts, field trip guides and popular publications.
PhD in Geodynamics (2005) cotutored by Università Roma Tre and Università Complutense de Madrid.

She worked in several research institutions (Università Roma Tre, 1999-2005; Università "Sapienza" of Rome, 2002-03; Museo de Ciencias Naturales de Madrid, 2005-07; Università di Torino, 2008-10) as researcher, in charge of collections, participant to excavation campaigns and teacher for undergraduate and master students.
